Jane Christy

Jane Christy’s journey with Golden Retrievers began in 1983 after she saw a dog named Kian at a show at the PNE, leading her to get her very first puppy, Teddy.

Over the decades, Jane has bred numerous notable conformation and performance titled dogs—such as Best in Show and SDHF titleholders—and has deeply contributed to the community by serving in leadership roles within the Golden Retriever Club of Canada (GRCC) and the Golden Retriever Club of BC (GRCBC).

Jennifer Hewett

I grew up in Shawnigan Lake on a 2 acre hobby farm. Always had dogs but my first love was horses and show jumping. After graduating and doing college I followed my love of horses to Hastings Park to work with the race horses. Got married, had kids.

When horses weren't a good fit anymore I fell in love with showing dogs (always wanted a Golden as a kid but my dad would only get rescues) I got my first pet Golden as an adult and had him for 6 yrs until we lost him to cancer. Then I met Jane.
